About

The work of today’s school counselor is multifaceted and can vary from career development to supporting students who are experiencing emotional and academic challenges (ACA, 2022). As trained mental health professionals, we strive to build safe, positive, and trusting relationships with our students to support their wellbeing and promote success both in and out of school.

Mission Statement

Counselors at Le Jardin Academy support students to achieve individual excellence, develop sound character, and positively impact the world.

Vision Statement

The vision of the counseling team is for all students to be known, accepted, and supported during their education at Le Jardin Academy. All students will learn academic, career and personal/social skills needed to achieve individual excellence, develop sound character, and positively impact the world.

Delivery Method

The counseling team will work with students individually, as part of a small group, or through the advisory program. Counseling is provided as a short-term, solution-focused and confidential service that encourages students to identify personal strengths and take responsibility for developing and implementing effective strategies for success and happiness.
